Book Description:
During the Vietnam Era a small band of draftees with Science or Engineering Degrees were assigned to Picatinny Arsenal with the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of Scientific and Engineering Specialist. The purpose of this assignment was supposed to provide technical assistance to weapons development at Picatinny arsenal. Instead these draftees who collectively objected to conscription, did not believe in the Vietnam War, and resisted attempts by the Army to get them to be good soldiers. Instead, much of their brief time at Picatinny was devoted to drinking, carousing, working on their cars, or pursuing other self promoting endeavors.
